Historical Background of MPM


MPM, the precursor to today’s PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk, was founded by William Soeryadjaya.


PT Federal Karyatama (FKT) was established in 1988 to produce motorcycle lubricants for OEM market as well as for our own branded products.


Opened the first MPMMotor retail outlet for the direct sale of motorcycles.


Acquired our initial shareholding in PT Sasana Artha Finance (SAF), which was originally established in 1992.


Mulia was established and the motorcycle distribution business was transfered from MPM to Mulia. 

2012 January

Acquired MPMRent and MPMFinance and their subsidiaries. 

2012 May

MPMInsurance was established. 

2012 December

JACCS Co. Ltd. acquired 40% of the shares in SAF, with an option to acquire additional shares. 

2013 May

MPM was listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. 

2013 August

MPMAuto, a subsidiary of MPM, was appointed to become a second national dealer by PT Nissan Motor Distributor Indonesia (“NMDI”) on 23 August 2013. 

2014 May

Merger of MPMF & SAF finalized.
